Hi there! I’m Melanie Gomez, the creator behind Donum Terra Jewels (Latin for "Gift from the Earth"). Originally from Mexico City, I now call the beautiful Prince Edward Island home with my Canadian husband and our son. We’re a homeschooling family, and we love the closeness and educational journey our lifestyle brings.

By trade, I’m a biologist, but my heart belongs to art! I’ve been crafting jewelry for 12 years, and now I’ve turned my passion into a small business. My inspiration comes from the stunning geometry and symbolism found in nature. I work with sterling silver, natural stones, and blend techniques like beading, wire wrapping, and silver-smithing to create each piece. Every item comes with a lifetime warranty!

Hi. I'm Shannon and I have two passions that I enjoy sharing with others through my art - whimsical drawings and beautiful sea glass. I started drawing when I was a young Island girl and, over time, I started to incorporate the uniqueness of the pieces of sea glass I found along PEI's many beaches and shores into my art.

These two passions combined into what I now call: Joy Designs. Each piece is completely unique and original. I hope you enjoy the fantasy, fun and fiction of my pieces as much as I do.
